For Visitors

What to Expect at our Services

Services

Our services are rooted in the ancient traditions of the Orthodox Church, offering a rich and prayerful experience. Visitors are welcome at all of our services, including:

  • Divine Liturgy (Sundays at 9:30 a.m.)
  • Great Vespers (Saturdays at 5 p.m.)
  • Feast day services and special liturgies as announced in our calendar.

All services are conducted in English.

Attire

There is no formal dress code, however, many parishioners prefer to dress in modest clothing that is a reflection of the sacredness of the space as well as our belief that we are in the presence of God. Most parishioners dress in some variation of business, “business casual” or “smart casual” attire.

Participation

All are welcome to observe and participate in the prayers and hymns. However, Holy Communion is reserved for Orthodox Christians who have prepared through prayer, fasting, and confession. If you have questions about participating, feel free to contact our priest.

After the Service

We warmly welcome all visitors, and hope you will join us after divine liturgy for coffee hour. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet members of our community, ask questions, and learn more about Orthodox Christianity. If you arrived late for the service or we did not have a chance to welcome you personally, please let someone know that you are new so we can greet you properly.
